------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Nov 29 12:45:02 -0800 2005 ------- I am a home PC user who would welcome the opportunity to escape from having to rely on MSOffice as the monopoly supplier of Office-type software. So I installed OpenOffice 2.0 from the cover-DVD of the recent issue of PCPlus. The Open Office installer did not give me the option of choosing where to install the program. It just blundered ahead and installed it in C:\ProgramFiles\OpenOffice or somesuch. This is NOT how I organise my PC. So I have removed OpenOffice from my PC and will not re-install it until it is better behaved. Is there any way I can control the installation process/ Rod Cavanagh --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
