------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Dec 5 11:33:38 -0800 2005 ------- If you extract all the files from the archive, and then store those files on an installation share on a server, and then use "msiexec /i \\server\share\OOo2\openofficeorg20.msi /qn" then none of the Start Menu shortcuts work, they all point at non-existent locations. Note that this is on Windows XP Professional x64 Edition - this is not yet tested on its 32-bit counterpart, and I haven't yet managed to finish downloading 2.0.1 to test it (hopefully I'll get this done tomorrow). I'm using Active Directory to publish the software actually, but I'm told that the two methods (this and the aforementioned) are technically identical. We're desperate to get this rolled out to about 150 users as we're using MS Office 2000 Standard at the moment, and it's becoming more and more of a problem to manage. We just want some software that works! So workarounds as well as "real" fixes are perfectly welcome. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
