Ok, I'm not able to confirm, either with OOo 2.0 (Release version) or 2.0.1RC2
(Developers snapshot - which is why it wouldn't show up on the regular downloads
page.) I'm running Windows XP SP2. I was able to execute a number of
replacements with success - both the sets that you specified and some that I
made up. All worked perfectly for me; no data loss.
I tried the following combinations:
*First opened the first sample document that you attached.
1) Open search
2) Check "Regular Expressions"
3) Search for: [\.\?\!\"\ ]$
Replace with: &lignevide
4) Open search
5) Check "Regular Expressions"
6) Search for: lignevide
Replace with: \n
-Worked perfectly; word count does not change from 94870.

-Lots of replacements (every period in the document!) but afterwards the word
count is still 94870

We'll need some additional information to figure this out...
1) Are you running on Linux? If so, what distro & X environment (KDE, Gnome,
etc)?
2) Do you have OOo downloaded directly from the OpenOffice.org or via a packager
(such as apt-get)?
3) You are on a PC architecture, correct? What processor?
