What needs to be checked:
1 That all occurrences of "1.0" in the download and installation set names and
in the download and installation processes are replaced with "1.1".
2 That mixing old and new installations works as expected:
2.1 Linux:
2.1.1 1.0 present, installing 1.1: rpm -U replaces 1.0 with 1.1
2.1.2 1.1 present, installing 1.1: rpm -U says "already installed"
2.1.3 1.1 present, installing 1.0: rpm -U says "installed is newer"
2.2 Solaris:
2.2.1 1.0 present, installing 1.1: pkgadd detects conflicts with installed
packages, you need to manually uninstall 1.0 first
2.2.2 1.1 present, installing 1.1: pkgadd installs again
2.2.3 1.1 present, installing 1.0: pkgadd detects conflicts with installed
packages
2.3 Windows:
2.1.1 1.0 present, installing 1.1: 1.0 is replaced by 1.1
2.1.2 1.1 present, installing 1.1: repair/remove-dialog instead of installation
2.1.3 1.1 present, installing 1.0: due to an error in 1.0, this is not
detected, and 1.0 is installed in parallel to 1.1 (overwriting the files of 1.1)
