------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Dec 15 14:51:42 -0800 2005 ------- Hello. I'm using a Linux System, ZenWalk 2.0, a distro based on Slackware 10.2. I downloaded the latest binary package you provied for OpenOffice-2.0. I unpacked it, transformed the rpms contained in it with rpm2tgz and installed the tgz packages with installpkg. Then, I tried starting openoffice issuing from an XFCE terminal (I even tried in KDE, but nothing changed), as normal user: $ /opt/openoffice.org2.0/program/soffice After some seconds, I'm returned to the prompt, without stderr or stdout messages, and without the application started. I also tried as root, and I didn't have problems of any kind: OpenOffice.org starts without problems. The only problem is trying to start the application as a normal user. I have the same issue using the OOo package provided by Linuxpackages.net. Thank you for your attention. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
