2005 -------
When opening a file, and browsing for the location, whenever the folder
contains a file of 9.5 GB, the “file open dialog” does not seem to be able to
handle this file.
The file is called "disk_05122005.img" (image used by qemu). The OO file open
dialog shows no name for the file, the file type is just file and the filesize
is 0 bytes. The date and time is a kind of mystery; the folder nor the file
does have a date and time as shown by the OO file open dialog.
When removing the 9.5 GB file, the OO file open dialog shows does not show the
0-size bytes-no-name file any more. So, it must be related to the 9.5 GB file.

So i did a file-open-dialog on my folder with films. The file size of those
films are from a couple of MB to a couple of GB.
It seems that there is the classic 2 GB file size limit; any file larger then
2 GB does not show in the file-open-dialog with it's correct file name, file
size, file type and file-has-changed-date and time.
