------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Dec 29 22:12:16 -0800 2005 ------- If a cell has multiple formats of text (e.g. bold and non-bold) and a search and replace causes text crossing the format boundary to be changed then the formatting for the text on one side or the other will be lost. E.g. a cell contains (caps indicates bold, non-caps indicates non-bold): TESTXxtest ...a normal search and replace to change the text "xx" to "yy" will result in: testyytest When it should result in either: TESTYYtest or: TESTyytest This the extent to which the issue has been explored so far, it may be further-reaching than what is described here and/or may be related to other issues. (And if it has already been submitted then I apologize, though I DID search quite a bit for anything similar first! :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
