------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jan 6 01:17:01 -0800 2006 ------- Forgot to mention explicitly: KabDriver::acceptsURL returns true as long as the impl-module (libkabdrv1.so, the one which is linked against the KDE libs, see issue 59673) can be loaded. This means that in the UI, the "KDE Address Book" type is present as long as we're running on a system with KDE. However, in KabDriver::connect, the version check is made, and an SQLException is thrown if it does not succeed.
