------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jan 9 13:38:14 -0800 2006 ------- Today, you can drag an individual cell by (1) click on the cell; (2) SHIFT+click on the cell to mark it as a range (3) release SHIFT (4) click and drag the cell the a another cell to move or CTRL+click and drag the cell the a another cell to copy. I prefer to reduce the number of actions as such: One the user starts dragging from within the selected cell while holding SHIFT or CRTL, the move resp copy of a cell must work. Alternative or in addition: Differentiation between a range selection or move can be determined based on the place where the user starts dragging: i.e. range selection when he start in the middle of the cell; move (with or without SHIFT)or copy (while holding CTRL) when he start at the border of the cell, i.e. when it look like the user realy grap the bold box around the cell and drag it to a new place. (btw: this is how it works in MS-xls) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
