Problem printing numbered lists.

OO 2.0.0 on Dell 512 MB, Win 2000

When I create a numbered list in a text file, it appears as it should on screen.
When I print it out, there is a space problem as shown below.

1.line 1
2.line 2
3.line 3
4.line 4

When printing on a DeskJet 400 or 648c, it prints correctly. When I print to an
HP laserjet 4250nt, I get the following where li of line is adjacent to the
number-period, and a space is placed between “li” and “ne” of “line”.

1.li ne 1
2.li ne 2
3.li ne 3
4.li ne 4

If I save the same file above as a Word (.doc) document, open it in Word, and
print it to the HP laserjet 4250nt, it prints correctly. That suggests to me
the problem is probably not the printer driver for the 4250nt, but the code sent
by OO to the printer driver (or Word coded a work-around to an HP bug).

I have a similar problem when using a 2 column table where the first 2 letters
in the second column end up in the first column when printed on the 4250nt. If
you can help with the above problem, I will send an example of the table
printing problem. Thanks.
