OK, this may be the most stupid bug report I ever made, but nevertheless.

I don't know how exactly, but I somehow did manage to make the stylist
completely disappear so it does not reappear, not when I press F11, not when I
use the menu
command "Styles and Formatting", not by klicking the taskbar icon.

I think I had a word processor document and a impress presentation open and then
closed the stylist by klicking the close-"X" in the window title (Metacity
is my WM). Afterwards I closed the presentation and tried to open the Stylist
again in WP, but to no avail.

See the Screenshot with the Stylist checked in the Menu, but invisible:

This is a complete screenshot, I do not use virtual screens, Stylist was not
hidden either under the WP or the Gimp window (used to take the shot).

I tarred up my dotfiles from .openoffice.org1.9.77 in my home directory

I know that this bugreport is quite vague, but nevertheless I think
the bug is problematic to naive users. I had this problem at least once
before and fixed it by deleting my configuration files.
