------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Feb 9 13:53:02 -0800 2005 ------- Under Windows XP if you download the th_en_US_new.idx and th_en_US_new.dat files from http://wordnet.princeton.edu/wn2.0.shtml (I think that's the URL) and place them in the directory: C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 1.9.74\share\dict\ooo Then the thesaurus works without crashing. I had to add a line to dictionary.lst to use the thesaurus for British English: THES en GB th_en_US_new I suspect the Thesaurus was intended to abort more gracefully than crashing the Writer when it discovers the files are missing, but I have yet to look into why this actually happens. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
