------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 17 09:43:37 -0800 2006 ------- This occurs in OO Calc 2.0.1 on Win XP SP 1 Further characterizations of the bug: 1) Start a Calc document 2) Go to Tools->Options->Language Settings->Writing Aids 3) Uncheck all the boxes (Except IgnoreAllList, which I could not uncheck) 4) Go to Tools->Autocorrect 5) Unselect all the checkboxes on the second through fourth tabs 6) type 'test' in all small letters in A1. Hit enter 6a) Observe 'test' is changed to 'Test' (capital T) 7) type 'TEST' in all caps in A2. Hit enter 7a) Observe 'TEST' is changed to 'Test' As stated earlier, autoformatting is still occuring. I'm not sure if this is related or not, but it is interesting: 8) Type 'test' in a5 (say) 9) Select cell a5 and select Format->Change Case-> Upper Case 9a) Observe 'test' changes to 'TEST' 10) Select cell a6 and type 'test' in it 10a) Observe 'test' changes to 'TEST' 11) Select cell a6 and select Format->Change Case-> Lower Case 11a) Observe 'TEST' changes to 'test' 12) Select cell a7 (say) and type 'test' in it 12a) Observe 'test' changes to 'TEST' I would expect that after step 11 - where we switch from upper case to lower case - that 'test' in step 12 would stay in lower case. Also, 13) If you close and restart Calc after completing the steps above, all text entered (TEST, Test, etc..) is converted to lower case.
