------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jan 19 00:11:37 -0800 2006 ------- I was working with two odt files simultaneously, and I also had the help file open in the background. Writer suddenly stopped responding. The mouse pointer turned to hourglass, and none of the document would come up when I pressed ALT+Tab. Both the files were saved earlier, and at the time of crash they were modified, but the changes were not saved. I am used to Writer hangs/crashes (I must have seen almost 100 crashes in the last fortnight, on Windows XP and NT4); so I just closed the application by selecting "Close" from the task button's context menu. But when I restarted the Writer, it reported the file was corrupted. Should it repair? I selected yes, and then it reported success; only to come up with a blank 1-page document. So my 300+ page odt file is lost. I do have the corrupted file (which I can't open) in case someone can help. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
