Do you have JMF installed and registered under Tools/options/java?
Does this crash happen with an original download. I tried this with an internal
m151 and could not reproduce the crash. Beyond that: at the moment there are
only a few formats supported under linux (
http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/jmf/reference/faqs/index.html#jmf2-support
). If the problem is not reproducible with the offical download than it is a
problem of the fedora build and we cannot do anything about it, sorry.
