------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jan 23 14:56:26 -0800 2006 ------- In order to reproduce the default described above I followed these steps. 1) click file->new presentation, select empty presentation, press next, 2) select dark blue with orange for the slide design, press create 3) select a slide design where you can add text (ex the second layout) 4) click format-> line and make sure the colour is set to white 5) in the drawing tool bar at the bottom of the screen select the line button 6) click a point on the slide and drag a line across the slide 7) you should see a slide with a dark blue background and a white line 8) click view-> colour and select greyscale The display should be a slide with a white background and the line should be missing. This is the same output that is printed with the greyscale selected. To reproduce the printing of the greyscale follow these steps. 9) click file->print->options and select greyscale This defect would be very disappointing to users who do not check their print preview. They will only realize after printing that some of their pages that had white lines and shapes did not appear as they wished. In addition to reproducing this error I ran some follow up tests. Test 1 – Check whether white text on a dark background is displayed properly in the greyscale view. This test showed that the text was displayed properly with the white text becoming dark text in greyscale. Test 2 – Check to see if shapes with a white outline and white fill are displayed correctly in greyscale. This test showed that even shapes are effected by the display in greyscale. For example a white rectangle on a dark blue background in the colour view will not be displayed in the greyscale view. Test 3 – Check to see if the same problem exits when the view is changed to black and white. This test showed that the problem does not occur when the view was changed to black and white. These tests were run with: Linux 2.4.31 and OOo 1.1 Windows XP and OOo 2.0 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
