------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jan 27 02:57:53 -0800 2006 ------- I successfully reproduced the bug on Windows XP SP2, OOo 2.0.1 and thunderbird 1.0.6 as my default email client. Steps: 1. Click on "File" menu, choose "New", then select "Text Document". 2. Type in texts. 3. menu Insert - > Picture -> From file -> select a picture. 4. menu File -> Send -> Create Html Document. 5. name the html file and "save" it. 6. menu File -> Send -> Document as E-mail. 7. The default email client launches, just proceed to type in the email address destination and send it (I sent it to myself). 8. Retrieve the email and notice that the image is not sent! Expected behavior: The email should have been sent with the image. Follow-up testing shows that it doesn't send any objects either: 1. Click on "File" menu, choose "New", then select "Text Document". 2. menu Insert - > Object -> select any 3. menu File -> Send -> Create Html Document. 4. name the html file and "save" it. 5. menu File -> Send -> Document as E-mail. 6. The default email client launches, just proceed to type in the email address destination and send (I sent it to myself). 7. Retrieve the email and notice that there is a broken image When OOo converts the document into a Html file, any Objects inside the document (picture, chart, formula, etc) are converted into pictures files. And since OOo has problems sending images, none of the objects are sent. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
