------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jan 27 11:27:49 -0800 2006 ------- I replicated the bug on a kernel 2.4.31 Red Hat machine. I noticed something interesting. When I replaced step 2 provided by 'shivjin' with the following: 1- press 'Delete' 2- press 'Backspace' 3-press any arbitrary keys In all the cases we would expect the entire text that was previously on the screen to disappear and in the last case some arbitrary characters to appear. The results were however a little different as I still faced the same problem and the last image was still hanging there. This made me realize that the problem is not at all a cut and paste problem but more of a selection problem. Namely the common feature that all of these cases here is the defect that upon ctl-A the last image is not selected as part of the selected text. As a consequence of this each of the cases appear problematic in their own ways. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
