For scientific data presentation in xy plots the open office procedure to do that is rather tidious compared to Excel. In particular if you want to change x datasets for an existing plot. What I basically need is the option to select a data range (data in columns or rows), define the selected range as x values and select and define corresponding y-values range just the same way. In an existing xy-plot I need the option to edit/change/swap either the set of x values, the set of y values or both.
