When you use the "Pfeil klein"-Style out of the stylist you must not select a connector with an predefined ending after that. The right usage would be: double click the wanted style in the stylist, select a connector WITHOUT any predefined ending (one of the left side of the box): when now drawing it the ends of the connector should be like you designed them in your style. By selecting a predefined connector (mit Pfeilende) in point 6 of your description you overwrite your styles settings.
