------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 31 18:39:14 -0800 2006 ------- In short: OpenOffice writer (randomly?) assigns a generic 'Times' font to certain paragraphs, although the stylist clearly specifies a different and existing font (e.g. 'Nimbus'). My girlfriend wrote a (rather large) document which uses very basic styles. She chose the common 'Nimbus' font as default and Text Body (all styles take their font settings from default, except for headers). The strange thing is that many paragraphs show a 'Times' font instead of the chosen 'Nimbus' font. However, ALL paragraphs have the exact same 'Text Body' style, which clearly specifies the use of 'Nimbus'. It most often occurs in the second or lower paragraph after a header: HEADER Paragraph 1 in Nimbus, 'Text Body'. Paragraph 2 in Times, 'Text Body'. Paragraph 3 in Times, 'Text Body'. I can change the default font from 'Nimbus' to something else, but the paragraphs that somehow use 'Times' never change. There is no 'Times' font installed on my system, and there are no references to any 'Times' font in the stylist or configuration. I do have the 'Nimbus' font installed, with its complete family, in TTF form. Quite obviously, I would prefer OO to use the chosen font and not randomly and persistently assign generic fonts to paragraphs; and that's what this bug report is about. The ODT document has not been attached because of its size (~ 15MB). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
