------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Feb 1 06:49:59 -0800 2006 ------- Hi, I am who first reported this issue in 58689 since it very much messes up fit-text-to-frame in OOdraw. Since it is now closed, I would like some clarification: 1) When will this be officially released? OO 2.0.2? 2.1.0? 3.0.0? It is a pretty nasty problem (one, that I will point out, did NOT exist in OO 1, so I think waiting would be a mistake. 2) I found a related bug that I didn't report- some fonts also will not show "spell as you go" underlining. I think it is also related to these same font matrix problems with non TT fonts. 3) What will be the default behavior after the fix? To ignore X native fonts or not to ignore them? I fear if it is not going to be the default, the vast majority of X users are not going to know the problem is fixed, even if documented in the release notes. I would suggest that if it is not going to be the default to disable non-TT fonts, then it should at least be a configurable "Tools->Option" Thanks! -Mark A.
