Part I: When you want to type or edit long cell contents, for example, a complex formula with nested conditions, I am used to an edit box that expands to show all contents of the cell. That would be a welcome enhancement. Part II: The contrary applies when looking at the cell where the new/edited contents are to be entered. If, say, your cell is in a table, you typically want to refer to other cells in the same row. It is convenient to use the mouse pointer to select such cells (thereby grabbing the cell references) at the appropriate point in the formula. Unfortunately, the fact that you are editing the cell blocks your access to nearby cells. The workaround is that you select a cell in the row beneath/above and change the row reference. It would be better if you could just use the edit box (duly expanded so that you can follow what you have done and are doing) and grab cell references unimpeded by expansion of the cell being edited. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
