I hope this is correct...
I did dmake clean at the top, then cd into bean and build --all. Also deleted
libfreetype.so.6 from solver. Then bean builds and checks OK.

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH ldd libofficebean.so | grep free
libfreetype.so.6 => /usr/lib/libfreetype.so.6 (0x71c88000)

Ver
Version: 2.1.10-1
