------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Feb 3 11:39:13 -0800
2006 -------
If an ODT file containing a Table of Contents is saved as a Word format (95,
Word 6, or Word 2000/XP) then when it is opened using MS Word 2000 the following
loss of functionality is observed in Word.

1. Edit, Select All is unavailable.
2. View Headers is unavailable.
3. A picture cannot be deleted.
4. The TOC cannot be selected or deleted.

All this is resolved if the TOC is deleted and the file saved again. If the DOC
file is opened in OOo2 everything works OK.

This issue was observed using:

OOo2 on Windows 2000, Windows 98 and Debian Linux (unstable). Files were tested
with Word 2000 on Windows 2000 and Windows 98.

Sample Files available but I cannot see how to attach them here.

regards

David Cefai
