This relates to Icon Switching (Issue 36518).
Since High Contrast (HC) icons will become a seperate theme, I created an
optimized 'images.zip' with all HC icons removed. The following icon was
deleted as part of this:
ui/default_images/svx/res/lngcheck_h.png

After deleting this icon, although I was using the 'Default' icon theme
(i.e. not HC), Spell Checking no longer functioned correctly- buttons were not
visible. This can be tested by temporarily deleting 'images.zip' and imagecache.
OOo degrades gracefully, displaying text in place of icons on the toolbar.
However, Spell Checking stops functioning.

Spell Checking should not have any icon dependency.

Regards,
Andrew
