------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 6 13:47:17 -0800 2006 ------- I have the same error on my home network: -Files to open are on a server with windows 98 -open office 2.0.1 is on the client with windows XP home -The error occurs on all files which will be opened in OO with double click in explorer -A drag and drop from explorer to OO works, but in this case the long filename is lost and the file is opened in OO with 8.3-name with an ~ -A local copy of the file will work Error message: Titel: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\Programme\OpenOffice.org 2.0\program\soffice.BIN This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
