------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 7 18:31:22 -0800 2006 ------- I'm not sure if this is related to issue 46254. In the attached file, it uses a font supporting simplified Chinese (GB2312 encoding). This font is commonly used in the mainland China. When the file is opened in Traditional Chinese Windows 2000 (eg, Hong Kong), some characters are not displayed (displayed as white spaces). I do have the Unicode Arial font available. So it means glyph fallback is not working. If I select the text and change the font to Arial (or Courier New, etc), then the characters will be displayed fine. The GB2312 font is named 仿宋_GB2312. In English it means emulated-Song_GB2312. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
