Insert->Picture->From File for an EPS file works, but only about 1 out of every
3 times. I DO NOT mean 1 out of 3 files, I really mean 1 out of 3 times.

(1) generate a plot using GnuPlot in EPS format (no not PS format, really EPS
format.)

(2) go into ooffice impress and do insert->Picture->from file and select the
file.

One of three things will randomly happen.

(a) The file will insert correctly.
(b) The file will get inserted, but it will be pretty small, will poor quality
and large margins
(c) Instead of getting an image you'll get a box with text in it explaining that
size and date of the EPS file. (This was standard behavior for OOffice 1.x)

Now I believe all of these three will print just fine, but that's not really
good enough. I want my nice graphically preview I get in (a). And if I don't
get (a) above I can just delete the image from the slide and keep trying until I
do get (a) to happen. However, random behavior is not all that reassuring and
after having to do this workaround for 50+ slides it gets really old, really
fast.

I would like to know if anyone else can reproduce my issue.

Another side point, I'm not sure it matters, but I'm reading the EPS files from
a Samba mounted file system (network file system). I'm not sure if the latency
of the network file system might trigger this bug^H^H^Hissue, so I thought I'd
mention it.
