This is a feature request related to
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=61851

The export to xhtml feature does not work properly when text is shown over
multiple cells.

Example:
Cell_A | Cell_B | Cell_C
my-cell-A-text-bleed-on-other-cells
will be wrongly exported in xhtml to:
Cell_A | Cell_B | Cell_C
my-cell-A-
text-bleed-
on-other-
cells

The workaround is to manually merge all cells where text bleed to other cells
before exportation. This is not convenient.

My feature request is to "auto-merge text cells with empty surrounding cells".
Thus, a great majority of OO spreedsheets would have bleeding text exported
correctly. This could be an option in the Export to xhtml dialogbox.
Thanks!
