------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Feb 9 11:55:57 -0800 2006 ------- I wanted to save some pages from the Internet as PDFs, and decided the easiest way would be to copy the text into a OO Writer "template" file and export from there. I created three macros to help in the formatting, each using a find or find and replace. When I paste the text from the next Internet document into the file (using Ctrl+A to overwrite the existing text), more often than not, the macros no longer seem to work. I can Undo all the way back to before I ran them on the original text, and they'll run just fine again (on the original). I can close and open the file, and the macros still work on the original text. If I save (but not close) the file with the new text, they don't work unless I Undo back to the original text. In summary, it seems that pasting over the text on which the macros were recorded somehow incapacitates the macros. It could be something simple in the OO Basic code, but I can't read it without documentation (of which there seems to be none). The macros fail regardless of whether I use "Run Macro..." or the buttons added to a custom toolbar. I will attach the file, which should have the macros and toolbar as part of the document. The source material is Errata pages for Shadowrun books, available at http://www.shadowrunrpg.com/products/index.php. Specifically, I'm seeing the problem when pasting the material from http://www.shadowrunrpg.com/resources/r3_to_r3r.shtml over the existing text. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
