I just did some tiestings (with 1.1.5 since my computer is way too slow for
2.0)
and it sorted right in Swedish (Sweden), Swedish (Finland) and Norwegian. I
didn't try Danish, but I suspect it work there too. So, Johnmar, is the sort
order in Swedish (Finland) different than in Swedish (Sweden)?

If they are the same, I just come to think about an idea, which MIGHT make it
all easier but still correct.

As we said before, Swedish (and Finnish?) sort order is a-z,å,ä,ö while Danish
and Norwegian sort order is a-z,æ,ø,å, as far as I know.

Now, what about if we use the same sort order for all of these four languages?
That would in that case be a-z,æ,ø,å,ä,ö. This will work for all languages, I
think, as long as we never use BOTH ä and æ and/or both ö and ø. I just found
another problem: There seems to be another character involved: Œ œ. What about
this one? In which language is this one used? And does OOo sort Icelandic
characters right? Maybe someone from Iceland can tell us about that...

Anyway, as I said, I would suggest the sort order a-z,æ,ø,å,ä,ö for all of the
four Scandinavian languages (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish) if no one
has anything against it.
