I tried changing the working directory to sv/www and then doing the commit but
still get the same error about lack of write permission. Yes, I do a CVS login
after setting the content of the environment variable CVSROOT and then making
the tunnel (and keeping it open in the background):
ssh -i ~/.ssh/OOo.id_dsa -2 -x -L 2401:localhost:2401 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The content of sv/www/CVS/Root is one line:
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs
The content of $CVSROOT is also
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs
