------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 19 23:07:47 -0800 2006 ------- When i am trying to open MS Excel files (*.XLS) from "1C" program i have a great problem with my merged cells. Version of xls file (as i think): 5.0 and i have no problem while opening this in any Excel. Resaving in Excel in this format (5.0/97) fixes this problem. To see it in action just try to open this files in OO and in Excel. Simple example: http://www.fursenko.com/oo/ligth.xls (4 Kb) More complicated: http://www.fursenko.com/oo/hard.xls (4 Kb) Used in real life (only way to export from the most popular and widely used russian accounting program "1C"): http://www.fursenko.com/oo/PKO.xls (8 Kb) http://www.fursenko.com/oo/PP.xls (8 Kb) http://www.fursenko.com/oo/RKO.xls (8 Kb) It's the main problem of using OO in Russia, i think that most of organizations won't be users of OpenOffice, even if they want it a lot. "1C" is the main part of document flow in russian organizations. -- With best regards, Galichev Anton. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
