I checked with "2.0.1 RC5 German version WIN XP: [680m1(Build8990)]" (and
others) and can confirm, that DRAW _and_ IMPRESS will show an error message, if
a linked image in the document is missing. Opening document will not be
continued until user confirms pressing OK.
I agree, that can be annoying if you want to run a presentation in front of
audience. I blieve, it would be a good Idea to collect missing images in a
separate window, that can be clicked to background with one mouseclick.
