------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 27 11:59:35 -0800 2006 ------- When switching a .xls file to read-only and opening with Calc, an embedded PDF file will not be able to be opened. We have countless files that have embedded pdfs for diagrams, but when we limit the users power to read-only on the .xls, the Acrobat graphic to the embedded file is unusable. It only appears as a graphic, but no longer links. If we turn the .xls file back to full privilages, then the pdf file will open when clicked on inside of the file. Please let me know if you have any thoughts!
