I checked with "2.0.1 RC5 German version WIN XP: [680m1(Build8990)]" and can
confirm the strange behaviour listed under "Now merge the cells A2-A6, as shown
below". It is unexpected that height of all Rows beside merged cell will be
changed.
You see a similar effect if you separate a cell vertically to several cells. Yo
can change height only for all together with strg+arrow keys.
That also differs from behaviour of width changing for columns with horizontal
merged cells, there you can change with of each row under a merged cell
separately.
