2006 -------
When importing a CSV file, the filter mishandles a quotation mark (within the
text of a field) as a text delimiter. It then fails to end the record at the
carriage return/linefeed character (Hex 0d 0a).
The attached file (Test.txt) contains 16 records. Records 2 and 14 contain
quotation marks to indicate inches in the descriptions.
When the file is imported in the following way:
In the Open dialog:
File name: Test.txt
File of type: Text CSV (*.csv;*.txt)
Click Open
In the Text Import Box:
Separated by: Check comma
The fields box shows only 4 records; records 2 through 14 are one long record.
