Sorry to reopen, but this issue is still very much present in 2.0.2RC4 for me. I
am using Windows XP, for what it's worth.

I do have some additional information. The problem only happens if you begin
holding the CTRL key BEFORE you begin to drag the cells. (In other words, step
(4) in the above procedure must be completed before step (5).)

To summarize:
-If you begin dragging via the "fill down" handle THEN hold the control key,
highlighting works as expected.
-If you hold the CTRL key FIRST, and then use the "fill down" handle
highlighting does not work as expected. Instead, it highlights only one column.

The screenshots from before are still valid with 2.0.2RC4
