------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 14 00:07:07 -0800 2005 ------- Present scenario: In OO.o, Writer (Web) provides the interface for editing web pages. The user interface and methods followed by this application is much more like the Writer. Thus the current web editing program lacks individuality and some functions like other complete web-editing softwares [f. e. Dreamweaver, Nvu, Mozilla Composer etc.] Aim: To provide the user with a total web-editing software [ Perhaps we could call it 'Spider' ?] with all the features related to web pages with compliance to industry standards and also web standards laid out by W3C consortium. [http://www.w3c.org]. This 'new' software would also help the user with the creation of web pages through easy methods as also with the scripting jobs related to creation of web pages with user-friendly options [pick and insert type]. Further, advanced users should be provided with advanced methods of coding. Tasks: In short enhancing the current Writer (Web) with additional functionality to meet the above said requirements. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
