Hi Ian,
the problem is that we maintain filterlists for our automated tests.
These lists are created with the version of the office the filters belong to.
In e.g. StarOffice 7 the impress-filter has following name:
IMPRESS=StarOffice 6.0/7 presentation (.sxi)
In StarOffice 8 the name for the old format has changed to
IMPRESS=StarOffice 6.0/7-presentation (.sxi)
now including a "-".
We do not want to change the names of filters from one version to the other
unless there is a very good reason (maybe legal stuff). Sure, adding a minus ist
nothing that would confuse the user, but it is a good practice to keep the name
as it was in prior versions anyway.
Can you point me to the spec where the name-change is defined? If such a change
is specified somewhere, it would help finding out where the change has to be
done.
