I cannot reproduce it (m156, SuSE Linux 9.1, KDE)
Please:
1) try this again with a current (2.0.2) build
If this should still happen, feel free to reopen and:
2) indicate which system you are using ("Other" is not a valid system)
3) indicate which locale (on the system) you are using
4) which HTML encoding you are using (Tools - Options - Load/Save - HTML
Compatibility - Character set)
5) check if this is not just a duplicate of issue 59828 (garbage characters on
first HTML source view)
