------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 14 06:11:31 -0800 2006 ------- I have an issue with the thousands separator in oocalc2. My global locale (hu_HU) sets it to '.' but oocalc uses ' ' (space). It makes it difficult to cut and paste spreadsheet gererated with usual hungarian locale thousands separator '.' (dot). So 1.234,56 is a string not a number after cut and past. I have tried to define my own format but as soon as I try to switch thousands separator on it moves the definition to one of the built-in space separated format. If I change the language to other where the dot is already defined as a thousands separator it is OK but then I have problem to set the rest of the locale settings (like date). My questions: - is it a bug that in hungarian language the separator is space and not dot? - where is the database that defines this setting? Should this come from locale (it does not)? 'locale -ck LC_NUMERIC' LC_NUMERIC decimal_point="," thousands_sep="." grouping=3;3 numeric-decimal-point-wc=44 numeric-thousands-sep-wc=46 numeric-codeset="UTF-8" I find this on 2.0 but checked with 1.5 as well. Also true for Linux and Windows version. Any help would be appreciated. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
