My config: Red Hat Linux 9.0 (I know this is 3 years old, sorry!)

How to reproduce
- login in Gnome (i'm running gnome 2.2.0)
- just start OOo Writer
- write some random text
- make sure you've got mistakes
- be sure to start AutoSpellcheck
- right-click on an underlined mispelled word
- Instead of choosing a suggested correction, click out of the pop-up menu to
dismiss
=> Everything freezes, not just OOo... but all windows ! Need to login from
anoher machine and kill OOo.

* I could reproduce on other Red Hat Linux 9.0 machines
* I could reproduce with other Unix logins
* I don't have this bug with KDE
* I've seen this bug in OOo 2.0.1 and it's still there in 2.0.2
