Answer to comment from 'rainerbielefeld' Tue Mar 14 -0800 2006 :
You closed the issue because you think the link between the OOo-writer-file and
the picture has to be a relative hyperlink.
But i think that in many letters it is more usefull to have an absolut path to
embedded pictures. When i opened this issue i wrote : 'the picture may be a
part of many other pictures in a specific directory an a server'.
The picture could be a company-logo, which is embedded in every letter of the
company to enshure corparate design and to save space on disk.
I write letters and save and writeprotect them on disk. Many times i create new
subfolders and reorganize the folder-structure. I don't want to open and save
every letter again when later i move letters from one folder to another.
If there is today no other way to get a picture embedded with an absolut path in
an OOo-writer-file it is nessesary in the future to have the option in the
dialog-box 'Insert picture' to choose between a relative and an absolut link to
the embedded picture.
