Please could you explain it? To the second part, it is not just a sugar API ;-) The shutdown can be cancelled only during the interaction. I see that the API was designed for other platforms as well, but it should have been designed to work on all platforms then, isn't it? The current API is IMHO unimplementable on unix because of cancelShutdown call. Of course only if I understand the SMlib.pdf correctly. But I looked at it again and didn't find any other possibility how to cancel shutdown than to cancel it during the interaction. So please correct me if I overlooked something.
