Format::ChartType
check 3D
select LINE
select XY
-> sometimes OOo crashes at this point
It's a little bit unclear why it crashes. I guess it got something to do with
the values in the data range. The attached doc contains randomly generated 
values.
If it doesn't crash at first try do the following:
(Average two or three times to try for me)
DO while noCrash = TRUE
     cancel ChartType dialog
     put focus in data range
     press SHIFT+CTRL+F9 for recalculation
     enter inplace mode
     Format::ChartType
     check 3D
     select LINE
     select XY
LOOP
