A workaround is this (from es on issue 41618):
1) exit OOo
2) in a shell type (depending of the shell):
setenv SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN false
or
export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=false
3) Start OOo from this shell
The bug is still present in 680m77.
