The attached patch picks up KDE's preferred email client and proxy settings.

To test it, uncompress it in shell/source/backends. There is a new
shell/source/backends/kdebe that is supposed to become part of OOo.
Reconfigure OOo, go to that directory and run dmake. You can now run (as root
user) the script named "installbe.sh" provided with the patch, it will install
register the new component. Just adapt the paths in this script to your own
settings.

Remains to be done:

1 - (urgent and rather easy to do) this stuff should end up in a
openoffice.org-kde-integration-2.0.3-161.i586.rpm package, exactly the same
way as the GNOME integration does. This would be done by imitating what
scp2/source/gnome currently does.

2 - (not urgent and not obvious to do) some KDE proxy types ("use PAC file",
"Autodetect proxy" and "use environment variables) are currently handled as
"no proxy at all".

3 - (not urgent and difficulty not evaluated) accessibility setting currently
always returns "false". I suppose that Qt "Accessible" API can be queried to
get a "real" value.

ENJOY !
