Thanks for your swift reply. I did some testing. I printed the same text in
various
formats both on paper and as file (you find them them attached).
As I see it from paper over here, I find faulty spacing in versions 2 ("Here is
one
possible answer...question": 5 wrong spacings, always at the beginning of the
words,
between the 1st and the 2nd character) and 5 ("goals", again between 1st and
2nd
character). In version 7, which is where I went back to the settings of version
2, I
get the exact same spacing faults.
I then did one test in Calc and could not find any faulty spacing.
Upon converting version 2 (or 7, as you like it) to pdf,I did not get any
spacing
errors.
I have attached the various .prn files (I hope you can see what I see on paper
here),
the text in version 2/7 (.sxw) and its conversion to .pdf, as well as the print
to
file version of the pdf.
I do think this it a very important issue, as an experience like this destroys
a lot of
confidence in the software used and the printing of documents is a key feature
of the
writer application.
